Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says the government has provided investment-friendly environment for foreign investors and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has opened vast opportunities in diverse sectors.
Talking to a delegation of Pakistan France Business Council in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said CPEC will also prove to be a tool for broader connectivity and cooperation among the regional countries.
He said the government has restored peace in the country and Pakistan is taking bold steps to expand the scope of trade with other countries.
The Minister said that big international companies are taking keen interest to invest in different fields in Pakistan.
Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need of joint efforts to cope with the challenges of climate change and terrorism.
The delegation appreciated government's steps for revival of economy and expressed keen interest in investment in infrastructure, energy and agriculture sectors of Pakistan.
