All Pakistan Textile Mills Association sets up WTO cell
LAHORE (November 07 2002) : All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) has established 'WTO Cell' headed by Abid Farooq at its zonal office in the provincial metropolis.
A law firm specialised in WTO affairs, has been hired to provide various services to Aptma as well as its members. The cell would provide services including development of Aptma's vision, and development of electronic WTO database.
The cell will meet regularly on monthly basis to review matters/development relating to textile industry under the WTO regime.
Regional and sectoral alliance will also be forged in a bid to expand the activities of the cell.
